The inspiration behind Kozy Kitties
Kozy Kitties was born from a very personal experience with one of our first rescue kitties, our beloved Cheetoh. After a long and courageous battle with Neuro FIP and a relapse that led to his passing from Wet FIP in October 2025, we understood the immense need for support and care for sick felines. Cheetoh's journey ignited our determination to create a safe haven and a second chance for other cats facing similar struggles in Central Texas.
Our Comprehensive Care
Beyond the initial rescue, our commitment extends to ensuring each cat receives the best possible care for a full recovery. This involves getting them fully vetted, providing a high-quality diet tailored to their health needs, and offering a safe, quiet space where they can decompress and begin their healing process. We believe that a secure and nurturing environment is crucial for both their physical and emotional well-being.
Making a difference in our community
We actively transform the lives of street cats in Central Texas by providing comprehensive care. Our process includes taking in abandoned felines, ensuring they receive necessary veterinary attention, placing them with experienced foster families equipped for their specific needs, and then rehabilitating them until they are ready to find their forever homes. This approach not only saves lives but also enriches our community by promoting responsible pet ownership and compassion.
